Pegimon was an original creation from the Japanese toy company Dream Rocket, as a limited edition collector item. Not much is known about this character, other than its perhaps the only time a giant penguin has been done with a relatively straight face. And yes, we too have noticed the similarity with Gigan of the Godzilla franchise fame.
